Maternity Leave

Yes, the time is quickly approaching. My third (and final) baby is due in September and therefore, I will not be accepting any session bookings or wedding consultations from September 1st until October 8th. I will resume appointments on the 9th of October. Please schedule your appointment for before or after this time in order to make sure that I can fit you in.

Glass Kids - So Much Fun

I went back to Baby Griffin's house and photographed not only him, but also his big sister and brother, Dani and Carter. These are friends of ours and are children are all spaced about the same amount apart (once my baby is born). What a hectic household! My children love to play with them, so my husband brought them along. That made everything even more challenging, but the shoot was great and I got some awesome pictures of them. Megan, the mom, really wanted a picture of all three of them looking at the camera - what a tall order. I think the only person that was staying still enough to get their picture taken was the dog, Sam. But we got a couple of them. Of course, they only stay still for about 1/10 second so I had to work fast. Enjoy the slideshow!

Special Beginnings

I am proud to announce that FireFly Images now offers free portrait sessions for families of those with special needs. Many of you may know that my brother is severly disabled and I have had the opportunity throughout my life to witness both the joy and hardache that this type of situation can bring to a family. Oftentimes, it has been difficult for my family to find businesses that are sensitive to my brother's needs. For that reason, and to honor my brother and all he has done for me, it is my pleasure to offer this complimentary service to my clients, past and future. All digital negatives of the files will be given to the family free of charge and there is no set limit to the number of times a client can take advantage of this offer. Albums and gallery prints are available if the clients chooses to purchase them.
